No more empty fences, no more dull trellis, no more naked walls crying out for attention. Spanish Rings lift the garden upwards, filling the vertical space with a year-round riot of colour.

 

From Award Winner to TV Celebrity and Worldwide Appeal

Spanish Rings won the ‘UK New Product of the Year Award’ way back in 1999. It was our Wall Ring design which caught the judges’ eye. Wall Rings are made from heavy gauge steel for strength and are given a protective coating to withstand the weather. They last for years.

Wall Rings have a hook and wallplug to give the options of fixing on brickwork or wood. Spanish Rings are available to hold standard sized flowerpots. Wall Rings hold flowerpots in these top rim-to-rim diameters: 5”/12.5cm, 6”/15cm, 7”/17.5cm and 8”/20cm.

After winning the award, Wall Rings were featured on the television with BBC Ground Force Programme, BBC Garden Invaders and QVC – The TV Shopping Channel, along with a host of appearances in gardening and women’s magazines.

Spanish Rings – How the Family Grew

As word of Spanish Rings spread, and more people saw us at the round of summer flower shows such as the Royal Horticultural Society Shows at Hampton Court and Chelsea we would be asked:

“I really need to brighten up my boring trellis” or

“Help! I’ve got the ugliest drain pipes in the world. What can I do to cover this eyesore?”

So, we listened, and thought, and listened again, then got to work introducing the new rings, which were specially designed to fit perfectly round the garden in the places people wanted.

Pipe Rings were introduced in 2003 and Trellis Rings in 2004.

 

Water Rings™

Water Rings – Create an Oasis inside Containers – The eco-friendly option

 

 

In 2004, the gardening public liked our eco-friendly container liners. Water Rings won Silver in the National Gardening Awards.

 

Water Rings are water storing flowerpot, basket and container liners. An advanced formula of water storing gel is captured between two layers of capillary matting. When water is added the gel expands and creates a watering source inside the compost or soil. Unlike loose gel crystals that get mixed with the whole of the compost, Water Rings form a root level oasis near the bottom of the container that promotes vibrant root growth.

It’s like having a nurturing oasis to keep your plants healthy throughout the season. Also unlike other gels products, Water Rings are biodegradable, breaking down in the plant holder and releasing trace elements of potassium into the soil.

 

Water Rings are available for small - 4”-5” diameter, medium 6”-7” diameter or large round pots 8”-10” diameter. The large round Water Ring is perfect for hanging baskets. They hold up to a pint of water inside the compost. If you use a liquid feed the fertilizer is absorbed within the Water Ring and nourishes the plant roots, producing the most amazing blooms. We also have a large square Water Ring in the range which suits square containers or can be cut into strips with scissors to line the bottom of plant troughs.
