  • Plant Choice.

Any 'hanging basket' plant can be placed within a Spanish Rings pot. Geraniums ( Pelargoniums) are especially popular in Spain and small bush or trailing varieties can be used.
Mixing plant types and putting more than one plant inside a pot can look terrific. You can have a lot of fun using different plants to create your own living picture. A picture that you can change with your mood or with the seasons. One benefit of Spanish Rings is you can save your plants by bringing your pots inside at the first sign of bad weather. One of our neighbours puts bulbs into her pots. The pots are then taken outside and popped into Spanish Rings when the time is right. She has a 12 month cycle of colour with summer bedding and winter flowering plants mixed with evergreens like ivy and hardy ferns.

  • Pot Choice.

The style of pots is another element in your creativity. Old moss covered clay pots weathered from years of use, can sit quite happily next to a brand new 'Long Tom'. The latest range of patio paints can add a freshness to old terracotta with striking effect. The ever changing combination of plants and pots will give you pleasure year after year. Pots sit either higher or lower in the Spanish Ring depending on their shape. Spanish Rings will hold all types of pots. You are not limited to pots with rim collars.

  • Water Rings.

Use our new Water Rings, water storing pot liners, to reduce the time consuming job of watering. Water Rings cut watering to just once in 7-10 days. When planting just place one Water Ring on top of your drainage crock. Plant up as normal but leave space at the top of the pot to act as a water reservoir. Water well when first planting, the Water Ring will absorb then retain water, giving you more time to spend as you wish. There are 4 Water Rings in each packet.
